These were interesting birds I'd never seen before. They looked like sandpipers on steroids! I asked a guy on the train on our way out what they were and he called them "Yellow Legs". If I had to guess if these were "Greater" or "Lesser" yellow-legs, I'd guess they were the "Greater" variety.
