This shot was done using a technique called "panning" where you leave a long exposure open and track the object with your lens. I should this from our condo, looking out onto the gardiner, using a 75-300mm lens (at 300mm). This was the first of many more I took, and it came out best. I had a tough time duplicating this, and none were better. But that's not to say there aren't better ones in the future... because there are going to be. Many many many of them! :)
