The Kitchen

This is where I had the stove setup. One morning, after filling the tank to the brim and pumping it up, we started it. And then I turned it too high before it got a chance to warm up & fully vaporize the gas. The white gas (aka naptha gas) started bubbling out the holes in the burner and set the whole thing on fire! I quickly tried to turn it off but the knob was really hot and starting to melt. After burning by thumb and still not getting it turned off, Mike quickly passed me pliers. At this point, it was a ticking time bomb and we should either get it off or run. If was ran, it would blow up for sure. If we could get it off, then we'd be spare. Not knowing how long we had, it was pretty intense! Fortunately all ended well and we were all OK. As a bonus, the stove was OK too. Why couldn't it have a handy timer like in the movies so we knew how long before it would blow ?
