Funny story about this toad. On our way down, it was now dark. We had flash lights, but it was still pretty freaky. We imagined all of Australia's dangerous snakes and spiders jumping out to prey on us. Toads like this one would jump off the trail into the bushes on the sides and freak us out. Everytime we encountered one made us jump. We ended up coming across 36 of them in the 2.5 KM stretch back to the resort!!!
