After I left the first portage, this was the mess I was leaving. Since I was heading in on a Sunday, everyone else was heading out. After I cleared this group that were leaving, it would be quite some time before I'd see anyone. Generally speaking, I saw 1 group per day.... and that includes the lack of visible canoeists and or tents, even in the distance! The solitude was amazing!
